Can you figure out what happened to this HOG3 upflow scrubber? It was brand new when installed, but the user did something that caused this to happen (see photos).
The contest person who guesses what happened most accurately will win a new HOG3 shipped anywhere in the world (winner supplies his own air pump, and pays any customs / import / duty fees if out of USA).

i think he puts some plastic stuff covering the leds, thinking this was going to protect from water or something like this. im saying this cause this orange thing looks like melted plastic for me, rsrsrsrs.

hmm im previously understood wrong how the hog3 works, the leds part are atached on the other side of the glass, no contact with water, so i dont think anymore he did something thinking to protect the leds from water, but it still looks like melted plastic for me, kkkkk....maybe are mushrooms....dont say to me the guy did "feed" the plants?.....kkkkk
